When you log into Kavi Workspace, you see any updates to the status of your mailing list subscriptions, group roles, and voting eligibility. Here are some examples:

Mailing List Subscriptions

You only see this status change notice if any of the following changes have occurred to your mailing list subscriptions in the last 30 days:

• your subscription type has changed (possible types include Regular, Digest, and Moderator)
• you have been subscribed to a mailing list
• you have been unsubscribed from a mailing list
  

For example, if your email list subscription status has changed from subscribed to unsubscribed, you will see:

Unsubscribed from [newsflash] mailing list

Note: This section includes information about updates to both your groups and standalone mailing list subscriptions.

Group Role

Any of the following changes to your role on a group roster are included:

• your role changes from one type to another (possible types include Member, Observer, Manager, Group Chair)
• you are added to a group roster
• you are removed from a group roster
  

For example, if your role on the group roster has changed, you will see:

Role Changed from [Observer] to [Group Chair]

Voting Eligibility

Any of the following changes to your voting eligibility are listed:

• your voting level changed (possible levels include Primary, Alternate and Non-voter)
• you have become eligible to vote
• you have become ineligible to vote
  

If your voting status on a ballot has changed, you will see:

Voting Level changed from [ineligible] to [eligible]

Note: Status updates are refreshed on an hourly basis. This means that there may be a delay of up to two hours before you see updates listed.

Note: Only one status update per 30 days is listed. So, for example, if your role in a particular group was changed from Observer to Member one day, then from Member to Group Chair a week later, only one status update reflecting the most recent change (to Group Chair) will display.
